The annual May Forum is a Poetry Society tradition, going all the way back to the founding in 1921. This meeting is a chance to look back--on the first season where the PSSC went "state-wide" with 12 traditional programs and many addition events--and it's a chance to look forward to the 2025-2026 calendar year with elections of the officers of the new board. The Spring Contests winners will be announced, as will the winner of the Skylark Prize. The last part of the meeting is the Forum itself. The three finalists for the Forum Prize will be read and discussed by the Forum Moderator, Susan Finch Stevens. The audience will be asked for comments, a vote will be taken for the audience favorite, and the final act will be to announce the winner. There will be a reception following the Forum.
