The Poetry Society of SC 2017 Summer Scholarship

The Poetry Society of South Carolina (PSSC) is pleased to offer a new annual scholarship, which will provide one full tuition each year to the Hub City Writing in Place three-day conference. Application for the scholarship—named the PSSC Summer Scholarship—is open to any current PSSC adult member. Starting in 2016, the winner will receive full tuition for conference registration—including admission to the poetry workshop and all conference activities, dorm lodging, and a manuscript conference with faculty. The annual three-day conference—held at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC, in mid-July—gives writers an opportunity to study in a workshop setting, generate new work, attend faculty readings, and more. See the Hub City website for further details about the Writing in Place conference.
